Description
The Trane SRT0987 PTC Starter is a core commutators utilized in the heating, ventilation as well as air conditioning equipments to reliably and effectively initiate the specification of the compressor motors. This starter is intended to work at 450V and control currents of up to 9A; PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) technology provides the required impedance at starting, which reduces with the motor running. Used in Trane air conditioners and heat pumps, the SRT0987 PTC Starter is used to minimize current draw during start up phases thus increasing the reliability and life of the system.
