The Carrier EA02DZ482 is Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) intended for use in HVAC systems whose refrigerant is R-22. It also has the great responsibility for controlling the circulation of the refrigerant by reacting with temperature changes within the evaporator coil. Due to the accurate measurement of the refrigerant flow, TXVs offer several advantages in the HVAC system. First, they can help in stabilizing and improving the performance of the system by controlling freezing of the evaporator coil. Second, TXVs enhance efficiency by eliminating the problem of refrigerant flooding the evaporator coil, which is counterproductive.
