Description
The Trane COM9280 Compressor is a small but mighty compressor suitable for small commercial applications as well as large residential ones, equipped with environmentally friendly R-410A refrigerant. Unlike piston compressors, this Trane compressor uses a scroll for its operation to enhance its performance. Within the hermetically sealed casing, two meshing scrolls operate as a high-pressure pump, compressing refrigerant gas. This design means that this design has a cooling capacity of 1.58 tons (approximately 18,960 BTUH), which is suitable for spaces that do not need intense cooling.
