The Rheem-Ruud 61-101655-04 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is one of the most essential components designed for HVAC systems, especially air conditioning systems that work with R410A refrigerant. This TXV regulates the amount of refrigerant allowed into the evaporator coil thereby maintaining maximum efficiency and performance through regulating the superheat of the refrigerant.
