Description
The Beckett Igniter 752801U DPDT Relay is used in different HVAC systems, but it is mostly used in oil burners. It is a 120V relay and its role is quite similar to that of a light switch in the electrical system – it regulates the current supplied to each component in the burner system. When energized the relay makes connections which include the ignition and the burner functions. Due to its DPDT configuration, it can switch two different circuits at the same time. Benefits include: reliable switching, correct ignition and burner operation that helps in efficient heating. This relay is essential for the safety and stability of oil-fired HVAC equipment operation.
