Description
The Tecumseh K71-06 Relay Kit is an electrical control assembly that is used with refrigeration and air-conditioning compressors to control the starting of the motors in HVAC systems. It has a relay that detects the voltage or current status and either opens or closes the compressor start winding to the circuit to start it. This kit is mounted in the compressor terminal or in the control compartment of condensing units and walk-in coolers and is used to coordinate initial torque together with the overload protector to protect the compressor motor.
