The CNI 7030 E/Z Lift Round Manhole Cover provides secure, durable access while reducing the effort required for routine inspections and maintenance. Backed by more than 50 years of proven reliability, this manhole cover features gas shock assistance that allows opening and closing with approximately 25 lbs. of force. The standard construction combines a ductile iron ring with a steel cover for long service life in demanding industrial, municipal, and utility applications. Zinc plated ductile iron cam-locks tighten with a standard 3/4 in. socket, eliminating loose parts and simplifying operation. A one piece gasket remains securely in place to maintain a watertight seal, while the H-20 traffic load rating supports installations exposed to vehicle traffic. The E/Z Lift design helps improve safety, access efficiency, and operational reliability where frequent entry is required.
