The CNI 7046 E/Z Lift Round Manhole Cover delivers a reliable access solution for industrial, municipal, and commercial applications where safety, durability, and ease of operation are essential. Backed by more than 50 years of proven performance, this 42 in. manhole cover uses gas shock assistance to reduce lifting effort to approximately 25 lbs., making opening and closing safer and more manageable.
Built with a ductile iron ring and steel cover, the E/Z Lift design withstands demanding operating environments while providing dependable access. Zinc plated ductile iron cam-locks tighten with a standard 3/4 in. socket, eliminating loose hardware and simplifying maintenance. A one-piece gasket remains securely in place to help maintain a watertight seal, while the H-20 traffic load rating makes it suitable for areas exposed to vehicle traffic. This design combines secure sealing, convenient operation, and long term durability for critical access points.
