Description
The Danfoss 003N-0075 Sensing Element is used in a wide variety of different HVAC applications, but mainly those thermostatic water valves for regulating water temperature control. It is a temperature sensing device. Liquid or gas within the bulb of the sensing element expands or contracts according to the surrounding temperature. The expansion or contraction moves the volume of that liquid or gas which, in turn, makes electrical contact that sends an electrical signal to the controls of the HVAC unit. This signal acts like a feedback loop to induce necessary modifications that should ensure water temperatures are within a given range. The Sensing Element measures about 32 to 85°F and can take up a capillary tube length of 2 meters in flexibility. This sensing element ensures accurate temperature control, playing a critical role to optimize the efficiency of the system.
