Description
The Johnson Controls TE-67NP-3B00 temperature sensor is designed for wall mount application in HVAC systems. This sensor works like the TE-6314P-1 type but has an added benefit in some uses. In case the surrounding air becomes hot, the resistance in the thermistor decreases, and in case the air is cold, the resistance increases. The TE-67NP-3B00 transmits the resistance change through a two-wire cable which plugs into a common 6-pin RJ11 phone jack. This connector design allows engagement with appropriate HVAC control systems that employ phone jack connections. This is because air temperature monitoring enables the equipment operation of the TE-67NP-3B00 to maintain proper comfort levels in the system.
