Description
The Rheem-Ruud 47-22383-37 SPST Limit Switch is an essential safety device, which is used to control the HVAC systems and their operations safely. This limit switch is SPST’ type and it has manual reset. It opens at 340°F so as to avoid getting hot and then closes at 45°F to reduce the level of heat once the heat has been turned off. This limit switch operates at 120/230 volts and ascertains the temperature of heating apparatus such as furnaces and air handlers. When the temperature rises beyond 340°F the switch immediately cuts off the electrical connection in order to minimize damage or even dangerous situations. Unlike other reset types, the manual reset option needs the user’s interference to resume the operation and ensure all the equipment is working properly before continuing.
