Description
The Trane SWT3084 is a Pressure Switch of SPST and it is a safety device that is used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems and used to protect the system from pressure. It performs the function of a pressure indicator and an electrical switch at the same time. At 650 psi the switch turns off, stopping the power supply to the compressor to avoid damaging it due to high pressure. The pressure drops to below 500 psi, the switch turns ON, triggers the compressor to start, and the running of the system. Made of steel, the switch comes with a dust, water, and corrosion-resistant body that makes the switch suitable for use in harsh conditions.
