The Trane SWT3274 is a high pressure switch that is a single pole, single throw (SPST) switch used on Trane HVAC systems. It can be thought of as a safety guard that is checking the pressure of your system. Measuring 9.0” tall, 8.0” long, and 5.0” wide, this compact switch is easy to install with quick-connect terminals. Its main purpose is to break the electrical circuit whenever the pressure level in the system rises to dangerous levels, The switch also resets and enables current flow whenever the pressure drops below 500 PSI. As a pressure safety control, this protects your Trane HVAC equipment from pressure damage in the event of pressure increment.
