Description
The Rheem-Ruud 47-23117-04 is a limit switch which is single-pole and single-throw basically it is used for switching off or on automatically the HVAC systems for temperature controlling. Its auxiliary power supply is 230 VAC and it has a normally closed contact which opens at 65°F and additionally, a normally open contact which shuts at 75°F. This component shields HVAC equipment ensring that it does not overheat. When the temperature reaches the level of 75°F, limit switch stops the power supply to the system in order to prevent any damage. When the temperature goes down to 65°F the switch resets itself in order to give the okay signal to the system to work normally. Due to accurate regulation of temperature values, this limit switch enhances the efficiency and longer performance of HVAC units.
