Description
The York S1-025-35355-001 is a switching temperature control switch of single pole and single throw type used for controlling HVAC systems according to temperature. The electrical contacts are unique to this device and will open at 40°F and close at 30°F. When the ambient temperature is 40°F, the switch is tripped and breaks the electrical circuit. When the temperature is below 30°F the switch is closed to connect the circuit. For this reason, the on/off functionality allows the control to turn on/off components or systems depending on temperature fluctuations.
