Description
The Johnson Controls TE-6351V-2 is a flange-mounted platinum resistance temperature detector (RTD) for the measurement of air temperature in HVAC applications. It includes an 8” probe which is inserted directly into the air ducts or air handling units. The sort of sensor element in this case is a platinum wire the electrical resistance of which depends on temperature. This is highly accurate with a Class A rating and the temperature is accurate within ±0.15°C at 0°C (or ±0.27°F at 32°F) of the actual temperature. The operating temperature range of the sensor is between -50 to 120 °C and is ideal for heating and cooling processes.
