The Lennox 22J52 is a Thermal Upper Relay a safety device that is used in Lennox air conditioning and heating systems. It’s an automatic relay that cuts off the power supply to the system when the temperature goes beyond the fixed limit to prevent your equipment from overheating. Located on the upper part of the unit, this relay works as a switch that is activated by temperature. It also has a small dimension (4 x 3 x 3 Inches) thus making it suitable for use with different Lennox HVAC systems. This also has a time delay option which implies that the system will not switch off at once when it reaches the high temperature limit.
