Description
The Johnson Controls TE-6300W-110 Thermowell 8 Stainless Steel is a sheath that is made of stainless steel and it is used to shield a temperature sensor from the conditions within HVAC equipment. The thermowell provides a protection shield between the sensor and the fluid or gas to ensure a safe and accurate measurement of the temperature of the liquid, gases, and air. The thermowell screws into a pipe tee or flange in the HVAC system including air handling units, chillers, and boilers. This configuration effectively shields the sensor from the process fluid, and it is also possible to replace the sensor without having to drain the system.
