Description
The Johnson Controls T-3610-1002 thermostat is a pneumatic low-limit controller that is used to maintain a minimum temperature in unit ventilators which are heating and ventilating systems that supply conditioned air to classrooms or small spaces. This device is a long, slender, and stiff probe containing a temperature-measuring fluid. When the temperature of the air around the stem changes, the liquid inside the system expands or contracts, producing a pneumatic signal. This signal is then to a damper or valve in the unit ventilator to control hot air supply to achieve the minimum temperature. It uses a standard 24VAC power supply and therefore integrates easily with most existing building control systems.
