The Trane VAL10370 is a Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) specifically for use with R410A refrigerant. 1 The valve regulates the refrigerant entered into the evaporator and controls the flow rate to ensure the better performance of the system and its efficiency. It has a 3 ton capacity and can be used in homes and small offices, shops and stores, schools and other small businesses. The construction of the Trane VAL10370 is solid and it is designed for long lasting and efficient performance with low refrigerant leaks. It has inlet size of 3/8” and an outlet size of 1/2”.
