Description
The Carrier RC6800050 is a Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) intended for use in several Carrier HVAC systems. This valve measures 0.09” on each side but it is of significant importance in controlling the flow of refrigerant in the system. Constructed from bi-metal, the TXV works as an automatic adjuster. In case the temperature of the evaporator coil increases, the bi-metal absorbs more refrigerant that flows to absorb heat. This precise control of refrigerant provides the better cooling and the better efficiency of the system.
