Description
The Lennox 27W17 Pressure-Switch is a safety component in your Lennox HVAC system. A pressure-switch measures the pressure of the air within the system and when this pressure in this case reaches 0.85″ of water-column it activates an electrical switch. This switch often breaks and closes a circuit and thus can be used to tell the system to switch on or off appliances depending on the connections. Designed for Lennox HVAC equipment, is used to monitor and contribute to the safety and stability of the equipment’s performance. In terms of causing actions when levels have been exceeded or reached it reduces the risk of failure, ensures equipment is safeguarded and increases general system reliability.
