Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 047605 Filter Drier is a refrigerant line component used to remove moisture, acids, and small debris from the circulating refrigerant. It is a 1/4″ SAE connection type designed for inline placement in the liquid line between the condenser and expansion part allowing smooth refrigerant passage while trapping contaminants inside the desiccant core. Within HVAC systems, it is positioned in the refrigeration circuit to protect sensitive components such as the compressor and expansion valve from internal contamination.
