The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 065555 Thermal Expansion Valve TCLE-5-HW100 is an essential component in HVAC systems, intended for air conditioning and refrigeration. This thermal expansion valve controls flow of refrigerant into the evaporator to afford the right superheat charge meanwhile cooling the car optimally. Its operation depends on a sensing bulb that controls the amount of opening of the valve by the use of the refrigerant temperature. This model works with refrigerants R22 and R407C and is designed for capacities from 1/4 to 5 tons.
