The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 065687 1/2-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essential part of the refrigeration and air conditioning systems.This TXV is intended to manage the refrigerant flow into the evaporator with high accuracy to achieve high cooling effectiveness and efficiency. That is because it is designed to work by detecting the temperature and pressure in the evaporator so that it can control the amount of refrigerant that is circulating in it. This dynamic control eliminates problems such as flooding or lack of refrigerant, which result in increased efficiency of the system, lower energy consumption and better cooling. The TXV is suitable for 1/2-ton refrigeration systems, R404A refrigerant and has 3/8” x 1/2” ODF connections for installation.
