Description
The Reznor 196388 Pressure-Switch is an essential component of the HVAC system. Designed to monitor the airflow and avoid risk situations. It works by detecting shifts in pressure within the system. At the pressure level of 0.5” water column, the switch turns on or off to inform the control board to continue or stop the process. This function used in gas-fired heating units as it checks on the status of the inducer motor before igniting the gas. When there is inadequate airflow or airflow is blocked, the switch does not allow the burner to ignite, minimizing the chances of fires, flame spewing.
