Description
The Carrier 06DA680078 Fan Motor is a replacement that has been built to be used with some Carrier HVAC systems. This is a three phase 460volt AC motor with a frequency of 60 cycles per second. To do this the motor generates a rotating electrical magnetic field through the use of electricity. This field interacts with each part of the motor internal and cause the rotation of the shaft. This rotation is then employed to turn a fan contained within the ribs of the HVAC unit, to distribute air within the system. This motor may be used in commercial or industrial HVAC equipment because of its high voltage class.
