Description
The Rheem-Ruud SP12140 is a pressure switch – a small safety device of rather robust construction being made of brass. It controls pressure in your HVAC equipment, which may be furnaces or air conditioners most of the time. This switch can be used in different temperatures such as 0°F to 200°F hence it can be used at different places. Unlike a simple on/off switch, the Pressure Switch makes use of internal mechanisms to monitor the pressure level in that system. It consists of a diaphragm or piston which reacts to changes in pressure.
