Description
The Amana-Goodman 0151L00011 12-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve is used with R410A refrigerant in HVAC systems. This valve controls the amount of coolant antifreeze that gets into the evaporator coil to maintain a balance of the superheat in the system. Due to their electronic control, the flow of coolant is regulated by the system’s control according to the cooling needs of space to achieve the right pressure/temperature ratio for optimal energy efficiency. A type of large heat pump and air conditioning the 0151L00011 TXV improves system performance and energy efficiency and protects the compressor from flooding or starved evaporators.
