Description
The Amana-Goodman BT1369067 Thermal expansion valve with rated capacity of 5-ton AC&R equipment intended for residential and light commercial systems. It has ‘Chatleff’ arrangement with 40” capillary tube and with 20% inbuilt liquid line restriction BLD. This TXV controls the flow of evaporator into the to refrigerant allow maximum efficiency of the refrigeration system. The TXV operates through the temperature superheated refrigerant that passes out of the evaporator. Depending on this temperature the valve controls flow of the liquid refrigerant in accordance with it. The Chatleff in conjunction with capillary tube and BLD allows for close control of refrigerant flow thus minimizing superheat and maximizing cooling capacity.
