Description
The Carrier 06EA660164 is a service valve designed for use in HVAC systems on section lines. These valves are fitted with refrigerant lines to provide technicians with a means to open the refrigerant circuit to evacuate, add refrigerant, or measure pressure. In case of system repair or maintenance the service valve is opened, to vent the refrigerant lines with air and moisture, before recharging with refrigerant. The Carrier is a 2-1/8″ suction service valve, which is the size of refrigerant lines that it is compatible with. Built to withstand the pressures and temperatures normal for use in HVAC operations, it’s made with a durable brass construction. The valve is a relatively compact device, measuring 12.5″ long, 4.625″ wide, and 5.5″ high.
