Description
The Carrier 3020400 is a Pressure Relief Valve, an element crucial to the functionality of an HVAC system and whose purpose is to protect the system against pressure buildup, it is Constructed from brass, and Poly Tetra Fluoro Ethylene, and stainless steel. The water connection of this filter is 1/2” NPTFE and the inlet and outlet diameters are 1/2” and 5/8” respectively with a pressure rating of up to 400 PSI. It functions at a temperature of -40 °F to 325 °F and efficiently modulates pressure by venting off to avoid system pressure damage. Which provides system reliability and safety reducing the probability of equipment failure and improving efficiency.
