The Carrier 331709-757 R410A Thermal Expansion Valve kit is an additional accessory for Carrier HVAC systems designed for R-410A refrigerant. It regulates the amount of refrigerant that passes through it in systems of capacity 4 to 5 tons. The TXV opens and closes to maintain desired pressure and prevent flooding of liquid refrigerant into the evaporator coil.
