The Carrier EA52PH057 is an essential piston for Carrier HVAC equipment, namely reciprocating compressors. A small, but highly effective part of your compressor that compresses refrigerant. This piston is approximately 3.5 inches long, 0.38 inches wide and in height. It is used in the refrigeration cycle to develop pressure. The motions in and out within a cylinder, compressing the refrigerant vapor. This process greatly raises the pressure and temperature of the refrigerant to a level higher than the pressure of the high-pressure side. The high-pressure refrigerant then moves to the other parts of the HVAC system where it releases heat in your home, when in cooling mode.
