Description
The Carrier EC39DM062 Schraeder Valve Core can most probably replace a much smaller valve core that is used in Carrier HVAC systems. Schraeder valve cores are small one-way valves that enable the refrigerant to flow into a sealed system but prevent the flow from leaking from the other side. They are usually located in service ports on valves or refrigerant lines. These measurements seem big (the core is 9” long, 4” wide and 0.2” high) but could mean the entire valve and not just the core. Carrier HVAC equipment requires the Schraeder Valve Core to correct the system function and minimize refrigerant loss because it regulates the flow of the refrigerant and eliminates leakage.
