Description
Carrier HH79NZ101 Thermistor is an essential part of many climate control systems that serves as a temperature probe. As compared with a thermometer that can directly measure temperature, a thermistor is a passive component. It works under the principle that the electrical resistance is changed according to the temperature of the environment. Usually the thermistor is located inside the air handler or in the duct and positioned to sense the air temperature. Such information is then conveyed to the control board of the HVAC system that uses it to control the amount of heating or cooling effect.
