Description
The Copeland 940-C411-89 Start Relay for it enhances compressor’s operational reliability. It acts as a starter switch by momentarily connecting the star windings of compressor motor with electric power supply. This particular relay’s pickup current rating is 21.9 Amperes and dropout current rate is 18.2 Amperes, hence developing it meets electrical needs in diverse HVAC applications. The Start Relay switch on when the system voltage hits 21.9 A pick-up point during operation so that electric current is allowed into the compressor motor thereby starting it up. Upon starting the compressor, this relay will continue maintaining this connection until the voltage reduces down to 18.2 A drop-out level.
