The Cutler Hammer-Eaton XTOB010BC1 Overload Relay is an essential protection unit intended to safeguard motors and electrical circuits against overcurrent situations, especially in HVAC systems units operating at a current level between 6-10 Amps. The 3-pole relay has 1 N/O and 1 N/C auxiliary contact that would allow the monitoring and controlling of motor functions. Bearing trips at instances of overload in 10 seconds conserves motors from overheating and consequent damage and improves the reliability of equipment such as compressors, fans, and pumps within HVAC systems.
