Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 060010 Filter Drier is used to eliminate moisture and particulate contaminants in refrigerant. It is applied in HVAC systems to guard compressors and expansion apparatus by catching rubbish and absorbing any remaining moisture as refrigerant passes through the system. It is a 1/4″ SAE male flare connection with an installation in the liquid line before metering equipment. The role of the system helps in the controlled flow of refrigerant, coordinated operation, and destruction by contamination in commercial and residential installations.
