Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 066151 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essential part in refrigeration and the HVAC systems used for R-410A refrigerant. This TXV has 7/8” and 1-1/8” ODF connections and a 10-foot capillary tube. It regulates the admission of liquid refrigerant into the evaporator by feeling its temperature and opening a valve in proportion to it. This results in enhanced refrigerant flow, improved system efficiency, lower energy use, increased cooling capacity, and better performance of the system in various applications, including residential and light commercial air conditioning, heat pumps, and chillers.
