The Honeywell KTCPI001 Visual Position Indicator is also known as the V4297A, is an instrument used to give a visual display of the position of a damper or valve in HVAC systems. Powered by 24 VDC with 20 mA current it is usually installed directly on the actuator showing whether the connected damper or valve is open, closed or in the middle position. This visual feedback is very essential for rapid system status assessment and for identifying problems. Typically installed in air handling units, VAV boxes, and other air distribution systems, the indicator makes maintenance easier and lets you check the system’s operation at once.
