Description
The Johnson Controls H721HC is a current sensor of the solid core type used to measure electrical current in HVAC systems. Dissimilar to other current transformers used in the present day and age that have a coil structure, this sensor has a core that is solid and sensitive to the magnetic field current. This contactless method allows the user to measure the current accurately and with high reliability without breaking the circuit. The sensor works within a current range of 0 to 200 amps and produces an output signal of 4 to 20 mA. This output signal is easily compatible with most building automation systems making it easier to monitor the building.
