Description
The Johnson Controls T-800-1603 Single Bulb Flange is a unique temperature probe designed for HVAC applications. This sensor has a flange mount style, which makes it easy for it to be installed on ducting or any flat surface. It is about 0.5 in height and has a single 3″ diameter stainless steel bulb rising from the middle of the flange. The bulb has a temperature-sensitive component inside it. This physical change is then converted to a measurable signal, which is transmitted through the 6.5-foot PVC insulated cable provided. The cable usually has wires that are pre-stripped to help make a connection to HAVC a lot easier. This way the T-800-1603 feels the changes in temperature, and through the signal it sends to the HVAC system, the comfort of the environment is kept constant.
