This spring kit fits all Johnson Controls valves and replaces the current spring inside the valve. The spring controls the operation of the valve’s internal parts, such factors as the amount of force exerted by the spring will dictate the air pressure necessary to open the valve fully or close it. The pressure range for this specific kit is 9–13 PSI. The spring also determines the rate of opening and closing of the valve stem on a signal from the actuator.
