Description
The Lennox 29M10 thermal expansion valve (TXV) is an essential control device for use on Lennox air conditioners employing refrigerant R-410A. Constructed from corrosion resistant brass, this valve is an essential component to enhance system efficiency and cooling. The 29M10 uses a thin and long probe to measure the temperature inside the evaporator coil. According to this temperature, it controls the flow rate of R-410A refrigerant through a typical 1/4-Inch diameter inlet to the coil. The valve makes sure that the right amount of refrigerant absorbs heat properly from the air of your home.
