It acts as a compressor timed-off control which controls the off cycle of the compressor mechanism. The 47J27 timed off control also prevents compressor restart immediately after a cycle, which reduces the amount of stress placed on your HVAC system and thus increases its longevity. Moreover, this control kit has low operating voltage of 24 volts and low current consumption of 1.2 volt amps, thus it does not put pressure on your electrical system.
