Description
The Lennox 87062 Auto Limit Switch is a safety device essential in many HVAC applications such as furnaces and air handlers. It has the role of an auto shut down mechanism, in the event that the system attains high temperatures, which may be dangerous to the system. The switch works under certain temperature conditions with the range being between 130°F and 170°F. When the temperature goes beyond this limit, the switch leads to a shut down of the system. After the temperature increases, the system is reset to its normal state when the temperature decreases. It also prevents the system from getting hot.
