The Reznor 112107 Pressure-Switch is an essential component of the HVAC systems. Designed to work by detecting the changes in pressure of air or any other gaseous substance. It is an SPST-type switch that controls the flow of electrical circuit based on the pressure applied to it up to a certain level. In furnaces and unit heaters, it checks that the inducer motor is working properly before allowing ignition to avoid unsafe combustion. The pressure is out of the safe range due to blockages, venting issues, or failure of a fan. Switch breaks circuit and turns off the system to prevent.
