Description
The Rheem-Ruud 42-104851-01 Pressure Switch is an essential part which allows the measurement and control of pressure within the HVAC systems. The pressure rating of such an assembly is 0. 2 “inch of water column and this switch enables the operator to regulate the pressure within the system which adds up to the efficiency and safety of the system. Basically, it works by either opening or closing its contacts depending on whether it senses pressure and, as such, is able to open or close the rest of the components. The 42-104851-01 is utilized in several Rheem and Ruud HVAC devices, furnaces, and air handlers to shield the system from possible damages due to pressure difference.
