Description
The Rheem-Ruud 47-100241-01 Limit Switch is a safety part to prevent the working of the HVAC system which is created for this purpose only. The limit switch has a voltage of 120/230VAC and the Contact configuration is SPST. This only has a push button for more manual resetting of the door and the door opens when it reaches 400°F and closes when it cools to 31°F. This limit switch prevents the temperature in the HVAC system to be over the allowed limit in the system.When the device reaches 400°F the switch interrupts circulation of the current and prevents the equipment from burning and getting damaged. Nevertheless, once the system temperature has reached the level of 33°F the switch is activated and normal functionality is enabled.
